LEARN / TODDLER BEHAVIOUR / TANTRUMS
Calmly speak with your child and explain how it is okay to get frustrated but not to lash out
Ask your child how they felt and why they acted that way, show compassion and understanding
Agree on a specific positive action for them to do when frustrated, such as jumping or clapping
MANY CHILDREN BEHAVE BADLY TO SEEK ATTENTION. TO PREVENT ATTENTION SEEKING BEHAVIOUR, SPEND AT LEAST AN HOUR A DAY ENGAGING, PLAYING AND PRAISING YOUR CHILD.
