PUTTING ON SHOES

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO TEACH YOUR TODDLER INDEPENDENCE. SEE THE GUIDE FOR ADVICE ON HOW TO TEACH YOUR CHILD TO PUT THEIR SHOES ON.

HELPFUL TIPS

  • Your toddler’s shoes should be easy to put on
  • It is recommended that shoes for toddlers are supportive and have velcro straps or are easy to fasten
  • If your child is unable to do it, don’t just do it for them. Work together and help them to do it themselves
