0-3 MONTHS

Newborn babies sleep for more time than they are awake and will wake up regularly to be fed. It helps to have a routine but you can always change it to suit your needs.

3-6 MONTHS

At 3-6 months babies will sleep for less time during the day but will still wake up regularly to be fed.  As they grow they will need less night feeds and be able to sleep longer.

6-9 MONTHS

Babies will start to sleep for longer and may stop waking up for night feeds. However teething or hunger may wake your baby during the night.

9-12 MONTHS

Babies should start to sleep through the night. However teething or restlessness may wake your baby during the night.
