SAFETY TIPS
Babies should not sleep in car seats and if they fall asleep transfer them as soon as possible
Children under 2 should have a rear facing seat for safety
Airbags must be turned off when child is in the front
Babies should not be in a seat for more than 2 hours
You should be able to see your baby at all times
BABY CAR MIRRORS
CHOOSING A CAR SEAT
All baby seats in the UK should be EU approved. Look for the “E” mark label on the seat
Aim to get an I-Size seat as they are the new specification for safer baby seats
Try a few seats in your car before making a decision
Will the seat fit in all cars your baby will go into, check for isofix
Second hand baby seats are not recommended
Think about how you will be using the car seat, will you need a base that stays in the car
