  • Turn head to side when on stomach
  • Raise head & chest when on stomach
  • Open/close hands and bring to mouth
  • Grasp and shake toys
  • Follow an object or person with both eyes
  • Wiggle and move when lying on back and stomach
  • Start using hands and eyes in coordination
NECK CARE

COMMUNICATION DEVELOPMENT

  • Start to smile
  • Make various cooing sounds
  • Turn head to voices and sounds
  • Make eye contact
  • Cry when wet, hungry or tired 
  • Stares for short periods of time
  • Respond with cooing when spoken to
  • Communicate through face and body language
